You know how to kick me in the rear. I will try and do better.
Thanks John, good thoughts. If success is the only option, excuses are not an option.
HI John, I totally agree with what you said. I’m working on getting rid of excuses. I’m sore this morning but we’re on our way to the gym. Hope to see you there! Thanks for your help!

RIght on, John! People make hard things happen all the time if they really want to.
I think the excuses come from a combination of reasons. One is that it is hard to see the end result. The process is hard and usually long, especially when it comes to health and fitness, and giving up something we enjoy now doesn’t always seem worth what we can’t see right now. I have some pretty lofty goals for myself considering my fitness history, and while I am so incredibly close compared to where I used to be I have asked myself so many times if it’s worth it. I’ve been very close to quitting because I couldn’t decide if it was really worth it. We have to have a picture in mind of the end result, we have to know why we’re doing it, and we have to know that it’s worth it and then focus on that every time we try to make excuses.
